JEN DELYTH - Welsh artist Jen Delyth creates original Celtic paintings and illustrations which explore the language of myth and symbol inspired by Celtic folklore and the spirit within nature. Delyth is known for her stunning illustrations of mythological concepts in a contemporary world. Born in Wales, now living in San Francisco, Delyth has developed her original Celtic Artwork in several Media, including traditional egg tempera paintings, print making, and textile design. Delyth has attained unprecedented success for her Celtic Artwork and textile designs, which are widely published internationally, including her book "Celtic Folk Soul - Art, Myth & Symbol ", and best selling Celtic Mandala Calendars, and Keltic Designs textile and jewelry line. Her video “Beyond the Ninth Wave” fuses images from nature with Celtic illustrations, music and poetry.

“For me it is the creativity and rhythm, the power of the symbols beneath the work that are most important. I am intrigued by the marriage of old and new, ancient and future. This work is a personal journey into the language of Celtic myth and symbol, the beauty of nature, a simple interpretation of Celtic spirituality expressing the Mystery of the inter-connectedness and balance of all things"

"Expression using a visual medium is more gratifying than using words… within the geometry and the organic rhythmic curves of Celtic knotwork, there is a sense of profundity underlying the two dimensional abstractions. Using this design language, I weave Celtic patterns into original designs which communicate the spiritual nature of the symbol."
